Transport to Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK)
Beijing Capital International Airport is situated 32 km northwest of central Beijing, and you have a multitude of transport options. The fastest is the Airport Express Line, which you can catch from the Dongzhimen underground station. Journeys take between 15 and 20 minutes, with trains running every 10 minutes during peak hours. If you are staying in a major hotel, check whether they offer a shuttle service. To make transport around Beijing easier, most travellers opt for a Beijing Transport Smart Card, which you can use to ride the subway, city buses, and even some taxis.
